Delhi Comic Con 2026
Delhi Comic Con is set to return to the capital on December 5 and 6, 2026, at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds. Organised by NODWIN Gaming, the two-day event will bring together fans of comics, anime, manga, gaming and cosplay, along with Indian and international creators, artists and storytellers.
Delhi Comic Con 2026 is gearing up for another edition, with NODWIN Gaming announcing that the popular pop-culture festival will take place on December 5 and 6 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds.
The event, which first began in Delhi in 2011, has grown into a major gathering for comic-book enthusiasts, anime lovers, gamers and cosplayers. According to the organisers, the Delhi edition now attracts approximately 52,000 participants.
This year’s event will feature interactive experiences, gaming zones, creator interactions, cosplay competitions and activities celebrating popular entertainment franchises.
The upcoming edition marks another chapter in Comic Con India’s 15-year journey, which began with a small community of fans in Delhi.
Over the years, the festival has expanded beyond comic books to include anime, manga, video games, music, comedy and other forms of entertainment.
Visitors can expect opportunities to meet Indian and international artists, comic-book creators and authors whose work includes New York Times bestsellers and Eisner Award-winning publications.
Speaking about the festival’s return, Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, reflected on how its audience has evolved over the years.
“Delhi and Comic Con have grown up together in many ways. People who came to our early editions as students are now coming back with their children, while younger fans are discovering a whole new world of anime, gaming, manga and cosplay,” she said.
Highlighting the enthusiasm of Delhi’s fans, Johnson added, “What we love about Delhi is how unapologetically fans here express themselves. You see it in the elaborate cosplays, the fan groups that plan their outfits months in advance, and the excitement that starts building well before the gates open.”
She continued, “It has become one of those winter traditions that fans look forward to every year. After 15 years, seeing that excitement continue across generations is incredibly special, and we cannot wait to experience it with Delhi once again.”
Akshat Rathee On Delhi’s Special Connection With Comic Con
Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, spoke about the capital’s significance in the festival’s history.
“Delhi holds a very special place in Comic Con India’s journey, as it was the first city to host the festival back in 2011. As the national capital, Delhi has always been a confluence of people and cultures from across India, and that diversity is a big part of what makes the city’s fandom so exciting,” he said.
He also pointed to the city’s art, theatre and gaming communities as important contributors to its pop-culture scene.
“You can see it everywhere, from the city’s thriving theatre and art communities to its college campuses, bookstores, gaming cafes and the streets of Connaught Place and Hauz Khas.”
Rathee added, “Comic Con brings all these worlds together under one roof, alongside fans who have made Delhi their home from different parts of the country. That coming together is what makes the Delhi edition truly special, and we are excited to see the capital turn up for Comic Con once again this winter.”
The festival will feature immersive installations, interactive experiences, virtual reality activities, gaming zones and merchandise showcases.
Cosplay will once again be a major attraction, with participants dressing as characters from comic books, anime, films and video games.
The event will also feature a major cosplay competition, allowing fans to showcase their costumes and character interpretations.
Alongside the activities, visitors will have opportunities to connect with creators, explore new comics and participate in community-led experiences.
Delhi Comic Con 2026 will take place at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds on December 5 and 6.
The festival has expanded to several Indian cities since its debut, including Pune, Guwahati and Kochi, bringing together regional communities of pop-culture enthusiasts.
With its return to the city where the journey began, Delhi Comic Con 2026 is preparing to bring together fans across generations for two days of comics, gaming, anime and cosplay.
Further details regarding participating artists, special guests, ticket prices and booking arrangements are awaited.
