The last couple of weeks have certainly been exciting for emulation enthusiasts. Sony’s consoles have been the modding community’s favorite target in particular, and a developer has now released a new GitHub project that enables Xbox Cloud Gaming on PS5.
PSBox Cloud Gaming is currently at version 0.9.5 and reportedly lets you stream Xbox Cloud Gaming titles on a jailbroken PlayStation 5 at 1080p and 60 FPS. This means you can now play Forza Horizon 6 on your PS5 without waiting for the official port that comes in January 2027.
The setup process is relatively simple, as long as you have a jailbroken PS5. After installing the app in your homebrew folder, launch it from the Home screen, sign in to a Microsoft account, and you’re ready to go.

Of course, you will need an Xbox Game Pass plan to access the service, and depending on the plan, you get up to 15 hours of playtime each month.
While the app natively streams games at 1080p, it supports upscaling up to 4K. It also fully supports the DualSense controller and includes an in-game menu to configure controller and picture settings. The GitHub page also mentions Xbox Remote Play, so if you have an Xbox and a PS5, you can stream games from the Xbox to your Sony console.
This Remote Play service doesn’t require a Game Pass plan, but it’s more niche, since most people are unlikely to own both a Series X and a PS5. And if you own a Series S, you probably wouldn’t want to stream a lower-quality version of a game to the PS5 when you can play the native PS5 version.
