There is a certain addictive factor in investigator series and true crime podcasts, or at least there is for me. I’m a huge fan of this type of production, like a MASSIVE fan. At some point in my life, I even debated whether to study something related to forensic science. What a surprise I got when I discovered that television does not convey one hundred percent how harsh reality can be… Nor the smells.
Long story short, I decided to stick with the shows, and one of my favorites is CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
This one hit television in 2000 with a very simple premise, yet no less attractive for it. A group of investigators face the most bizarre situations day in and day out, the kind that make you question human intelligence. Just like me at work, only without so much style, of course.
Watching this is the closest I ever got to my dream of becoming a forensic investigator, which sits filed away alongside all those careers I thought about studying before I realized my brain was born lazy… and hated me. However, hey! I settled for investigating something far less dangerous: memes.
Today, I put my best detective skills to work and surveyed the crime scene of the internet in search of some of the best CSI memes. I examined the evidence, and, after a thorough investigation, I reached an irrefutable conclusion: These memes stand guilty of being way too funny.
