Amazon’s last big Prime Day push before Black Friday is here, and it couldn’t be more welcome for computer users, from everyday mainstream folks to power-hungry enthusiasts. After all, the memory shortage is in full swing, having driven up prices over the past year for everything that relies on the technology.
Despite my worst assumptions of a Prime Day sale in such a state of affairs, Amazon’s retail partners have delivered with some truly lucrative deals this time. Honestly, this might be the last time you see the desktops I found below at these prices, especially if stock doesn’t hold through to Black Friday.
I’ve reviewed PCs for 16 years now, and I have been tracking prices regularly since the first-ever Prime Day event. This year, I’m primarily looking to get back to prices before the memory crisis ruined everything. Luckily, I’ve found quite a few of those examples, ranging from cheap mini PCs to high-power luxury gaming builds.

While some people have already moved on to Lenovo’s latest Yoga all-in-one PC with the adaptive light bar and cutting-edge Intel Core Ultra X7 chip, you can grab last year’s model for almost $1,000 less than it cost when we tested it. Why is this significant? The system features a 32-inch 4K OLED screen and dedicated graphics powered by an Nvidia RTX 4050 mobile GPU. That combination is still en
You’ll also be hard-pressed to find a 32-inch AIO with a comfortable 32GB of memory and a 1TB solid-state drive inside. That affords lots of multitasking power, the space needed to hold creation project files, and room for the odd game installation (outside of working hours, of course). We awarded the 32i with four stars in our late 2025 review, lauding its built-in wireless phone charging and punchy performance in addition to everything else going for it.

If you looked at our Corsair One i600 review earlier this year with a mix of envy and aspiration, I have some exciting news for you. This Prime Day deal brings the price down from a challenging $2,899.99 to $2,299.99, a $600 savings. It’s a much more sensible price considering the components.
This is a potent but thoroughly midrange configuration, with a mid-tier (but liquid-cooled!) Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card paired with a top-end Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor. While that’s backed up by 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 solid-state drive, those are still standard in a $2,900 system. The RTX 5070 GPU, however, is much more sensible at $2,300 versus nearly three grand. If you’re into top-tier case designs and aren’t as worried about future upgrades as you are about space savings, this One i600 deal should be at the top of your list. We reviewed the previous version of this desktop in a max-level configuration, and loved it enough to grant it our Editors’ Choice award.

This mini rig from Geekom was already priced attractively at $549, but now it’s one of the best deals in mini computing for this year. Hitting that sub-$500 price will be tough in 2027, with memory prices continuing to rise, so it’s fitting that this box is known as the A5 Mini 2027 Edition. We reviewed a similar model last year, the A6 Mini, which won an Editors’ Choice award in the category and was named one of the best products of 2025.
Priced at just $466.65 (15% off), the A5 Mini makes for an incredible bargain basement mini PC deal. The A5 Mini comes with an even punchier AMD Ryzen processor than the A6 Mini model, and 16GB of memory in a world where $700 laptops are coming with just 8GB of RAM. While a 500GB SSD is a little more commonplace, you’ll have a hard time finding many other systems with comparable memory and storage capacities for less than $500 going forward. This looks like such a cheap and effective general-use PC that it might be worth grabbing as a just-in-case purchase. Geekom even name-drops agentic AI as one of its capabilities.

FAQ
Who Has the Best Deals on Desktop Computers Right Now?
At the moment, Geekom has a significant advantage in truly affordable mini PCs, especially as the latest Mac mini cedes a bit of ground with its move to the M6 processor. However, the level of power that the new M6 mini reaches makes it deeply competitive well up the pricing totem pole, representing an incredible value in a different sense of the word. You can also find well-priced all-in-one desktops from vendors like Dell and HP.
What Is the Best Month to Buy a Desktop Computer?
Like most tech products, the best month to buy a new desktop PC is in November with Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Prime Day consistently delivers, but every major retailer and product manufacturer brings the heat just after Thanksgiving, in that final stretch before the holidays. Cyber Monday has always brought the most en
Are Things Actually Cheaper on Prime Day?
That really depends on which of the Prime Days you’re talking about (spring, summer, or fall), because the closer you get to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the less likely you’ll see a top-tier price cut on the product you’re chasing. Products are almost always cheaper on Prime Days versus regular shopping times, but not necessarily closely prior to (or following) major shopping holidays.
