GeekOut, Inc. released “Yakuza Blocks, “ an officially licensed Roblox game based on the “Yakuza” series developed in collaboration with Sega Corporation , on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
In addition to freely exploring Kamurocho—the setting of the series—players can enjoy familiar brawl action and character development, all with free-to-play access.

” Yakuza Blocks ” is an officially licensed ” Yakuza ” series Roblox game created through a collaboration between GeekOut and Sega.
The game is the result of a development project for an officially licensed “Yakuza” virtual space announced in May 2025, with development handled by GeekOut Studio.
This game recreates ” Kamurocho,” the series’ iconic <a href="https://comicvibe.com/<a href="https://comicvibe.com/mahoning-valley-arts-and-entertainment/” title=”Mahoning Valley arts and entertainment”>entertainment-overtakes-the-car-trade-in-the-global-brand-race/” title=”Entertainment overtakes the car trade in the global brand race”>entertainment district, within Roblox.
At launch, players can freely explore the area around Tenkaichi Street, walking through familiar streetscapes ranging from the back alleys of the entertainment district to the main thoroughfares.
The explorable areas are scheduled to be expanded in the future based on player feedback and gameplay trends.
Experience battles that make full use of Heat Action and character development!
At the heart of this game are real-time battles based on the brawl action familiar from the “Yakuza” series.
You’ll attack enemies you encounter on the streets and fight by utilizing Heat Actions, which are activated by consuming Heat Gauge.
You can also develop your character using points earned in battle.
By allocating points across the three categories —“Mind,” “Skill,” and “Body”— you can enhance experience points, battle rewards, combat abilities, and basic physical attributes.
Furthermore, multiple battle styles are available, and each style’s unique actions evolve as your character grows.
You can also enjoy multiplayer with friends and mini-games!
The game supports multiplayer, allowing you to team up with players connected online or explore Kamurocho with friends.
Signs throughout the city and equipment items feature unique visual styles characteristic of Roblox, blending the series’ worldview with Roblox’s signature sense of playfulness.
The game also features mini-games, one of the hallmarks of the “Yakuza” series.
Various mini-games and content will be added sequentially in the future, expanding the scope of gameplay.
