Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie (July 24, Hulu)
Canadian webseries Nirvanna the Band has been a cult sensation for nearly 20 years, eventually spawning a real TV show and a feature film, Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie. Matt Johnson and Jay McCarrol are members of the titular duo, which has been unsuccessfully trying to book a show at the Rivoli in Toronto for 17 years. When a time-travel mishap sends them back to 2008, they meddle with history and return to a very different present. It’s a riot.

Furious (July 27, Hulu)
Created by hit producer Elizabeth Meriwether, Furiousstars Emmy Rossum as an FBI agent hunting down a clever serial killer who always seems to be one step ahead of her. When a rich New York business scion dies of an overdose, she links the event with several other similar deaths to discover that a ruthless mystery woman is taking out men who abuse women. Early reviews are very positive, spotlighting the messy morality of both the leads and the impact that these horrors have on the people around them.

Lollapalooza Livestream (July 30, Disney+ and Hulu)
All of the major streaming services are dipping their toes into live streaming events, whether in sports, news, or music. Disney+ and Hulu snagged the rights to the 2026 Lollapalooza festival from Chicago, and from July 30 to Aug. 2, you can tune in and watch. There will be no archived broadcast to stream later, so if you want to catch acts like Lorde, Charli XCX, Wet Leg, and Turnstile, you’ll need to mark your calendar and make sure to be in front of your TV or other device.
