Welcome to your weekly look ahead at what’s coming to Netflix over the next seven days! As we head into the middle of September, the fall TV season is officially kicking into high gear. Between the highly anticipated return of Ryan Murphy’s true-crime anthology, a blockbuster WWII action flick, and some fantastic new original comedies, your watchlist is about to get seriously packed.

Here is a breakdown of everything coming to Netflix between September 14th and September 20th, 2026, including three expanded highlights you definitely won’t want to miss.

Best New Shows and Movies Coming to Netflix This Week

Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story (Limited Series)

Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s wildly successful, Emmy-winning true-crime anthology series returns for its chilling fourth installment.

Following in the footsteps of Dahmer, the Menendez Brothers, and Ed Gein, the series turns its lens toward the infamous 1892 axe murders of Andrew and Abby Borden in Fall River, Massachusetts. Prepare for a deeply atmospheric, unsettling, and meticulously crafted exploration of the enigmatic Lizzie Borden, the sensationalized trial that followed, and the dark family secrets hidden behind closed doors.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024)

Guy Ritchie brings his signature chaotic, fast-talking energy to World War II in this wildly fun, action-packed historical romp which will be a perfect companion to watch if you’re nearing the end of your binge of The Gentlemen season 2. Henry Cavill (sporting a truly magnificent mustache) leads a rogue squad of military misfits on a top-secret, highly illegal mission to sabotage German U-boats. Loosely based on recently declassified real events, the film is an absolute blast from start to finish. You’re really here to watch a ridiculously charming ensemble cast—including a scene-stealing Alan Ritchson—blow things up in style.

They quickly discover that the road to the US championship is unexpectedly raucous, grueling, and absolutely cutthroat.
