Phenix City, Alabama (2-1), completed a dramatic comeback to win on Monday night and comes back on Tuesday to take on Tacoma, Washington (1-1), in an elimination game at Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, as the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series continues. The teams meet for the second time after Tacoma opened the World Series with a win over Phenix City on Wednesday before topping Boerne, Texas, on Friday. Phenix City topped Bonita, California, in an elimination game on Saturday before Monday night’s victory.

Alabama’s Brooks Cameron lined a single to center field to score Urijah Berklite in the bottom of the seventh to complete a 6-5 comeback win over West Chester, Pennsylvania, on Monday night. Alabama trailed 5-0 in the third inning before plating five runs in the bottom of the inning to tie things up. Cooper Champion started the rally with a two-run single before Easton Allen singled home two runs and Kinley Rasmus tied the game with a base hit to left. Rasmus also worked 4.2 shutout innings of relief, striking out six, to get the win.
Washington was held to two hits on Sunday in a 5-0 loss to Henderson, Nevada. Paxton Hansen and Winston Weaver finished the game with singles while Kasen Workman struck out seven in 4.2 innings but was also charged with four runs.
In their first meeting, Washington scored twice in the top of the seventh to break a scoreless tie in a 2-0 victory over Alabama. Tuesday’s winner advances to face the winner of the later game between Ohio and New Jersey on Wednesday.
