    The story-driven survival sandbox game Permafrost is set to officially launch in early access on Steam on October 9, introducing players to a post-apocalyptic arctic world where exploration and strategy will be paramount to overcoming the brutal reality of an endless winter. Permafrost ranked among the Top 20 Steam Next Fest Demo titles, and fans who enjoyed their first taste of the frozen adventure only have a short while longer to wait before diving even deeper into the never-ending tundra.

    Having already earned comparisons to <a href="https://gamerant.com/best-shooter-games-that-get-better-as-you-play/” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>games like The Division, Permafrost looks to scratch a familiar itch for fans of expansive open worlds by featuring gameplay mechanics that put players’ survival skills to the test through silence and scarcity. With building mechanics reminiscent of Fortnite and both solo and co-op approaches available, Permafrost aims to offer a fresh take on the apocalyptic survival genre.
