Twitch Opens Brand Sponsorship Opportunities To All Affiliates

Twitch is extending its brand sponsorship program beyond Partner-tier streamers, giving all Affiliates globally the ability to get discovered by brands, execute campaigns, and get paid through the platform’s Sponsorship Dashboard.

Until now, sponsorships on Twitch were largely restricted to Partners, the platform’s higher monetization tier, aside from a handful of one-off brand campaigns. “Starting today, Affiliates can get discovered, execute campaigns, and get paid by brands through sponsorships on Twitch,” the company said in an <a href="https://comicvibe.com/exclusive-boom-studios-official-full-november-2026-solicits/” title=”Exclusive: Boom Studios Official Full November 2026 Solicits”>official blog post. Affiliates will be included in select brand campaigns where they meet a brand’s criteria, and can manage the process end-to-end through the Sponsorship Dashboard.

To participate, Affiliates must accept the Sponsorship Portal terms and complete a new Creator Sponsorship Certification course through “Creator Camp,” a self-paced program covering how brand campaigns work on Twitch and how to deliver results for partners. Certification will display on a streamer’s Creator Profile, the pitch page creators use to share channel details and sponsorship interests with brands.

Twitch also introduced a Wehype partnership to route additional third-party sponsorship offers into creators’ dashboards. The first such opportunity is a sponsorship tied to EA’s “Battlefield,” available now through the platform’s “Third Party Campaigns” section. Separately, Twitch added the ability for streamers to feature customized clips within Sponsorship Highlights on their Creator Profile, giving brands a preview of what a creator’s sponsored content looks like before signing on.

    Built on an Earlier Test

The rollout follows two Minecraft-branded campaigns, “Tiny Takeover” and “More Minecraft, More Challenges,” that Twitch used to test opening sponsorships to Affiliates on a limited basis. According to Twitch, more than half of the paid streamers who participated in those campaigns were Affiliates rather than Partners.

The company said that response is what drove the broader rollout: “Following the Minecraft campaigns, we heard from Affiliates loud and clear: you wanted more opportunities to work with brands directly on Twitch. So we built it.”

The move continues a strategy Twitch has pursued since its 2025 “Monetization for All” initiative, which lowered the requirements to reach Affiliate status and extended tools like Bits, Subscriptions, and a Spendable Balance feature to pre-Affiliate streamers. Mike Minton, Twitch’s Chief Product Officer, described the broader thesis behind that push in comments to Net Influencer last year: as creators grow, “more of the brand opportunities become visible to you,” a progression Minton tied to Twitch’s Creator Sponsorships tool specifically. Sponsorship access has now moved a tier earlier in that progression, reaching streamers as soon as they hit Affiliate status rather than waiting for Partner-level audiences.
