MGM+ revealed that Forest Whitaker’s crime drama will conclude with a two-hour finale instead of a fifth season. Production for the finale begins on July 10 at the show’s Brooklyn set. Whitaker reflected on his seven years playing Bumpy Johnson, saying, “Playing Bumpy Johnson has been one of the greatest experiences of my career.” He also thanked MGM+, Chris Brancato, 20th Television, Amazon, and the cast for their collaboration.
It’s Not Like That
Prime Video canceled the faith-based family drama after just one season on July 7. The show starred Scott Foley and Erinn Hayes and held a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.
