A new Hot Toys figure may have just revealed one of Avengers: Doomsday’s biggest action sequences before the film even hits theaters. The collectible depicts Thor in a battle-ready pose that hints at a major confrontation fans have been speculating about since the first trailer dropped.

Thor’s Hot Toys figure for Avengers: Doomsday teases his Sentinel battle
A new Hot Toys figure for Avengers: Doomsday reveals a key Thor scene from the film. The Deluxe Version sixth scale figure, listed on Sideshow Collectibles, depicts Chris Hemsworth’s Thor wielding both Stormbreaker and Mjolnir. He stands atop a destroyed Sentinel head while surrounded by lightning effects. The figure’s description states that Thor “unleashes his full godly power to turn the tide of battle.” This moment has not appeared in any of the film’s trailers so far.
The Doomsday trailers previously set up this sequence without showing its resolution. In the footage, Thor arrives on a ruined planet to confront Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom. Doom stops Thor’s axe with two fingers and then uses his powers to raise decommissioned Sentinels. The trailers left the outcome of this confrontation unresolved. The Hot Toys figure now suggests Thor destroys at least one Sentinel using his dual weapons.
Other Doomsday merchandise reveals more heroes joining the Sentinel fight. A separate Hot Toys figure places James Marsden’s Cyclops amid a destroyed Sentinel head. Glowing red edges on the wreckage suggest his optic blasts tore it apart. Channing Tatum’s Gambit also gets a figure, showing him slicing through a Sentinel head with his signature charged cards. Ian McKellen’s Magneto rounds out the lineup, with his figurine depicting the mutant using his metal-bending powers to rip a Sentinel to pieces.
These figures hint at a major crossover battle between the Avengers and X-Men against Doom’s Sentinels. The scene appears to take place on a ruined planet connected to the X-Men universe. However, the merchandise does not confirm whether Thor survives this encounter with Doom.
Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters on December 18, 2026. The film stars Downey Jr., Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Patrick Stewart, and Paul Rudd, among others.
