The summer fun continues in the Mario Kart World Open August 2026 event!
Join us to race anytime from August 15 at 2:00 p.m. PT until August 16 at 6:00 p.m. PT.
Participants from the North and South American regions will receive 50 My Nintendo™ Platinum Points*. To join in, you’ll need the Mario Kart World game, a Nintendo Account, an internet connection, and a Nintendo Switch Online** membership. 50 My Nintendo Platinum Points* will be available to claim by participating in the event. Your My Nintendo Platinum Points will be ready to claim on the Missions page on or about August 25, 2026 (PT).

The Mario Kart World Open August 2026 event will use the following settings:
Registration Instructions:
To enter, you must participate in the Event in the Mario Kart World game during the Event Period.
To access a Event, select the following, in order, within the Mario Kart World game: Online Play > Press the – Button to search for an event > Enter 4-digit Event ID. Enter the following code to enter the in-game event for that day
Please note that by participating in this event, certain information associated with your Nintendo Account may be publicly viewable on the event results page. Such Nintendo Account information may include your username, player icon, your score, etc.
