Caladrius 2/Dark Element is officially coming to Nintendo Switch this Winter 2026 as part of its worldwide release.

Developed by KAMINARI GAMES Inc. and MOSS, the vertical shoot-‘em-up marks the return of the Caladrius series with a brand-new cast, enhanced gameplay mechanics, and its signature bullet-hell action set in a gothic fantasy world.

A physical Nintendo Switch edition is also planned, with pre-order details expected to be announced at a later date.

    Key Features
    Brand-New Characters and Story

Take to the battlefield with a diverse cast of new playable characters, each featuring their own personality, story, and beautifully illustrated designs. Their journeys unfold across a dark fantasy world brought to life through detailed artwork and immersive environments.

The Return of the Shame Break System

The iconic Shame Break system returns with enhanced visuals. During battle, both playable characters and bosses reveal dynamic cut-in illustrations as they take damage, bringing back one of the franchise’s most recognizable gameplay features.

Master the upgraded Element Shot system to unleash powerful attacks, adapt your strategy, and overcome increasingly challenging enemy formations and massive bosses.

Experience intense vertical scrolling shoot-’em-up action filled with dense bullet patterns, fast-paced combat, and split-second decision-making. Every stage challenges players to balance offense, defense, and precision to survive increasingly difficult encounters.

    A Distinctive Dark Gothic World

From haunting environments to beautifully illustrated characters, Caladrius 2/Dark Element blends gothic fantasy with stylish visual design to create a memorable atmosphere that has become synonymous with the Caladrius series.
