The Hollow Day 5: Floor 5 Maze and The Mimic Quest Guide – Core Roblox Guide

The Hollow Day 5 requires you to work through the movie theater’s puzzle on Floor 5, and you’ll be completing a special quest for the featured game. Completing both of these tasks rewards you with UGC rewards, namely the Spore-Worn Traffic Cone, and the Hiachi Grin Mask. In this guide, we’ll be providing you with a full walkthrough for solving the riddle to find the Floor 5 Mirror riddle and how to complete The Mimic quest in Roblox.

The Hollow Day 5 Maze Puzzle Solution

You’ll need to make your way down to the fifth floor in the movie theater to begin your next puzzle. When you arrive, like the previous floors from The Hollow event, your goal is to reach the Relic room while avoiding the monster that appears down here. The monster is a woman in white from The Mimic, wandering around the floor.

Similar to the previous floors, we recommend sticking to the right side of the map from the initial entrance, as the Relic room typically spawns over here.

You’ll know you’ve entered the correct floor when you enter, and it looks like a destroyed town, with rain falling from the top. Head inside, and look for a pair of mirrors shooting beams of light out from them. The goal of this puzzle is to get the starting to the center of the room, where there’s a blue skull. You’ll need to rotate the mirrors to shift the light around.

However, some mirrors are connected together. You’ll see the light on top of the mirror flash when you’re moving a second mirror at the same time, which can make it tricky to get the correct rotation.

For the start of this puzzle, make sure that the first purple mirror is pointing the light through the blue triangle, and hitting the orange mirror. That orange mirror then needs to be pointed to the right, toward the purple mirror.

From the purple mirror, have it point toward the center of the room, rather than the left side. This will hit the orange mirror on the wooden platform, and then you want that mirror pointed to the far back of the room, to another orange mirror. That orange mirror needs to point to the left, to the large cluster of mirrors.

Here, it can be tricky to get the correct mirror orientation, as several of these mirrors connect to other ones. You want the first mirror to point outward, to the right side, to accept the light. It should then bounce the light to the green mirror, which bounces the light to the purple mirror. That purple mirror needs to face the center of this cluster and bounce it off the first mirror (that doesn’t have a light), and that mirror needs to bounce the light to the second one that doesn’t have a light. These two should be facing each other.

The light can then go to the final batch of mirrors. It should first hit the mirror with a cyan light, then hit the final purple mirror. The light should then pass through the blue pyramid, hitting the green mirror, which bounces onto the blue skull, completing the sequence.

If you find yourself not getting a correct rotation, try moving a different mirror outside of the ones we’ve highlighted. There’s a chance rotating it a few times could help you move a different mirror entirely, making this sequence much easier.

After you complete everything, the Relic will appear in your hand. All you have to do now is exit the room and return to the elevator, earning your prize.

How to Complete The Mimic Hollow Event

The Mimic’s special quest available for The Hollow players can involve a solo playthrough, or you can play with a group of friends. If you’re looking to get it done quickly, having a handful of friends with you might be a good idea to quicken things up.

However, it’s entirely possible to do everything yourself. When you enter the lobby, head over to the ticket counter labeled The Hollow to start it. Here, you’ll pick whether you’re playing it by yourself or with other players.

When the game starts, you’ll enter a carnival and only be able to explore a short distance. Immediately after this, a killer clown appears, named Ronnie. He wants to play a game of hide-and-seek, where he’s always seeking you, and you have to try to hide from him.

Shortly after this conversation, the game begins, and you’ll need to complete seven different carnival games to advance this portion of the game. These carnival games are scattered throughout the fairgrounds, and you’ll need to avoid Ronnie while playing them all.

These games are short, but Ronnie can sneak up behind you to interrupt your game before you’re finished. Thankfully, you don’t lose your progress if you’re ever caught, but you do start back at the entrance. After completing three of these games, additional monsters featured in The Hollow appear on the fairgrounds and also begin hunting you down, making this section a bit trickier to finish the last five games.

Here’s how to complete all seven carnival games.

All The Mimic Carnival Games The Hollow
    Carnival Game Description Game Image
Mini Golf Pull back on the mouse and aim with it to get the ball into the cup on the other side. You have 30 seconds for each hole to get the ball into the cup.
Dunk Booth The reticle from the ball will move around and around, every so often going over the target. Click the mouse button when the reticle goes over the target to force the puppet to get dunked. You need to dunk four times.
Basketball Charge the Basketball shot and wait until it gets to the top, then throw the basketball through the hoop. You need to make four baskets.
High Striker Rapidly click the button until you get to the top, ringing the bell three times. Complete the entire run within 40 seconds
Whack a Clown Hit every puppet clown that appears for that round.
Pop a Balloon Move the needle across the balloons and pop all of them before the time runs out. You have 30 seconds between each round.
Ring Toss Aim the ring reticle across any of the available rows, and toss it on an untouched bottle. Land six rings before 60 seconds is up.

When you’ve cleared all of these games, you’re not done yet. Instead, you’ll be taken to a second phase, and have to avoid Dimitria, the cursed oracle. Instead of a carnival, you’ll be in a fortune house where you need to collect four relics to earn a wish, which should allow you to leave.

There are activities surrounding each of these four relics that you need to collect, all while avoiding Dimitria as she wanders the halls. You can outrun her, or use any of the chests to hide from her.

These are the four relics and the games that you need to complete to receive them.

All The Mimic Relic Mini Games
    Carnival Game Description Game Image
Fate Relic You’ll play a game of cards, attempting to memorize a particular one and pick it out after they’re shuffled. The pace at which these cards get shuffled gets faster as you advance through the rounds, and you need to do it five times.
Eye Relic On the front wall, eyes will light up and appear for a short time in a specific order. You need to turn around and interact with the candles to mimic that order and repeat it.
Moon Relic There is a slowly moving moon symbol on the right side of your screen, and one in the center with the sun. You need to move the sun to match the one on the upper right of your screen, letting the sun go when you’ve completed it.
Star Relic There are multiple stars with color lines pointing out from them. Move the stars so these lines are aimed at each other. These lines connect, completing the constellation.

When you’ve received all four relics, you need to bring them to the wish fountain, which is highlighted on your UI as the area unlocks. Rush over to it, and interact with the relics to complete this section. However, Dimitria won’t let you go so easily. Before you can leave, you’ll need to defeat Dimitria.

You’ll receive a magic Moon Axe that you can use against her. Rush Dimitra with the axe and hold down the button to hit her. She has a melee attack that you can try to avoid, but it’s relatively tough given the lack of movement controls. Additionally, she fires out green orbs at you, flying away. You’ll want to close the distance to continually hit her. Every so often, she’ll also summon the children of The Hollow against you, bringing shadows of the monsters that have been chasing you.

Like the puzzles, if Dimitria defeats you, you’ll respawn but she won’t regain her health. You can attempt this often as you like, and never lose progress against her.

Once you defeat her first health bar, she gets a second one, and it becomes much more devastating. The world shifts, as does her appearance, and she gains massive arms that float around her. Much of her movement remains the same, but the large arms shoot beams at you for a short period of time. You can place yourself behind the pillars to avoid these attacks until she’s done. The best strategy is to rush her, get right under her, and hit her as many times as you can. Expect her to take you out in this form, but you’ll eventually whittle down her health.

After defeating Dimitria, you’ll return to The Mimic lobby, and you can make your way back to The Hollow. Head over to The Mimic door, and you’ll receive your Children of the Hollow badge and the Hiachi Grin Mask.
