The 7 Knights of the Marronnier Kingdom is now streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, with English and Hindi dubs available. The fantasy anime follows seven royal brothers who leave their homeland to travel across neighbouring kingdoms, bringing their different personalities and abilities into a series of unfamiliar situations.
The story centres on the Kingdom of Marronnier, which lies among seven neighbouring nations with a history of strained relations. Baribara, a prominent general, sends her seven sons on diplomatic journeys to help strengthen ties between the kingdoms. Each brother serves as a knight commander and has a distinct talent, giving the group different strengths as they represent Marronnier abroad.
Their travels take them through foreign lands, where they encounter new cultures, political tensions, and challenges that test their abilities. The brothers’ missions also connect to questions surrounding their mother’s past and the unusual qualities they each possess. Meanwhile, Marronnier’s princess secretly leaves the palace in disguise and joins one of the brothers on his journey.
The series is based on the manga written and illustrated by Nao Iwamoto. It began serialisation in Shogakukan’s Flowers magazine in September 2016 and is classified as a historical fantasy.
J.C.Staff produced the television anime, which premiered in October 2026. Kiyoko Sayama directs the series, with Shinzō Fujita handling the scripts and series composition. Yoshiaki Fujisawa provides the music. Prime Video is the exclusive worldwide streaming home for the adaptation.
