We’re on a drip-feed of first-party PlayStation releases this generation, but after last week’s Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls and April’s Saros, there’s yet another high-profile Sony game right around the corner.

Like it or not, Sony seems hellbent on pushing for a disc-free gaming future for the PlayStation brand. After last month’s announcement sent shockwaves across the gaming industry, Sony’s CFO doubled down on the company’s latest financial report, citing that they are proceeding ahead with it, albeit “cautiously.”

Capcom has revealed that “approximately 90 percent of [its] unit sales are digital,” in its latest quarterly earnings report, noting the Japanese publisher “does not anticipate a significant impact” on its operations as PlayStation gets ready to kill off physical media by 2028.
