Actor Alan Ritchson of “Reacher” fame is in negotiations to feature in Sony Pictures’ film adaptation of the video game “Helldivers”, according to entertainment news outlet Deadline.

It’s been a rough couple of months for PlayStation, with anti-consumer decisions having caused major backlash from its community, and these recent events haven’t helped, with at least two major first-party games now removed from the Steam store.

Helldivers 2 dropped a few new tracks from its original soundtrack, as the new Tracks of Tyranny EP is available right now.

Each month, Sony updates its PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium line-ups with new and (sometimes) returning games. For the month of August, the console maker is offering a strong selection of notable titles, including the first-party hit Helldivers 2 and the award-winning Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

PlayStation Plus recently added the smash-hit multiplayer game Helldivers 2to its roster of Extra games, and it’s got a lot more going for it than you’d think.
