The opening theme for Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has been revealed as “SPIN” by Japanese funk-rock band Kroi. A video featuring the song is now available to watch.
The track will serve as the anime’s opening theme as the story follows Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli across the United States during the massive Steel Ball Run horse race.
Steel Ball Run is the seventh main part of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga. Araki wrote and illustrated the manga, which ran from 2004 to 2011 and was collected into 24 volumes. Set in 1890, it follows paraplegic former jockey Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli as they enter a cross-country race with a $50 million prize.
The anime adaptation is produced by David Production and serves as the sixth season of the television anime. Its first episode premiered on Netflix in March 2026. The adaptation features Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi as co-directors, with Toshiyuki Kato serving as series director and Yugo Kanno composing the music.
