StaplesVR will exhibit at the Asia Pacific A 2026, taking place August 31 – September 2 in Bangkok, at Booth 410
Rather than distributing printed materials, the company will offer live, hands-on demonstrations of its virtual reality (VR) training platform throughout the event. Attendees can book 20-minute sessions with the StaplesVR team to experience the technology applied to their own training challenges.
At its booth, StaplesVR will demonstrate VR modules across three areas of aviation training. For cabin crew, the platform covers cabin door procedures, fire training, and cabin familiarisation, allowing trainees to practise door operations and evacuation procedures without a physical mock-up, a slot in a safety centre, or a full crew present. For pilots, modules cover pre-flight inspections, de-icing, and procedural training, allowing crews to rehearse procedures, faults, and emergency scenarios before working with a live aircraft. For engineers and MRO staff, modules cover borescope inspection, engine ground runs, and safety familiarisation training, allowing competency to be built and assessed without using aircraft or hangar time.
Each StaplesVR training module has two components: a Procedural Trainer, where trainees practise and repeat tasks to build confidence, and an Assessment component, where trainees demonstrate competency and generate individual performance data.
According to StaplesVR, airlines are moving more training into VR because it reduces demand on aircraft, simulators, door trainers, and instructors; delivers consistent training across bases and trainees; is competency-based with measurable outcomes; allows repeated training without consuming physical training capacity; and is available as an off-the-shelf subscription with elements configured around an airline’s standard operating procedures (SOPs).
StaplesVR will be located at Booth 410 at APATS 2026 in Bangkok.
