Simone Biles is reflecting on a frightening encounter that transpired at her home in Chicago.
The Olympian casually revealed that a group of burglars entered her house and stole her car in a TikTok video posted Monday.
“I feel like I need a new car because during our last few months in Chicago, three men in masks came to our house and stole my Porsche,” she said in the middle of a “get ready with me” video. “But that’s another story. If you guys wanna know, I’ll do a story time on that.”
Biles indicated that the car theft is just one of numerous bizarre incidents that she experiences semi-regularly. “I feel like I need a reality TV show,” she said. “The things that happen to me are absolutely insanity. And so it would be really easy for producers to just film regularly. That is one of the reasons why we also got our doberman.”
The athlete clarified that she eventually got the car back from the thieves. “Yes we recovered the car, onto the next,” she wrote in her caption.
Biles wanted a new car after the theft, so she test drove an Audi, but it wasn’t quite to her liking. “We went to go look at the car, and I test drove it, and I was like, ‘Oo, this car is really muscle-y,'” she said. “I didn’t like the way it drove, and I’m not about to manhandle a car.”
The gymnast landed on a similar car to the one that was stolen. “We went over to Porsche. They had Cayenne GTS, and baby, when they turned that thing on, I was sold,” she recalled. “I felt like Tiffany Haddish from Girls Trip: ‘Give it to me! I want it! Give it to me!'”
Biles’ husband, NFL star Jonathan Owens, recently signed a one-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts after playing two seasons with the Chicago Bears. Biles reflected on her upcoming move to Indiana in an interview with <a href="https://people.com/simone-biles-plans-to-officially-move-to-indianapolis-to-support-husband-jonathan-owens-exclusive-12122706″ rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>PEOPLE.
“I’ve been in Houston most of the time, so I’m going to officially move there [to Indianapolis] a little bit later,” she told the outlet. “So I haven’t experienced too much, but the stadium is stunning. It’s beautiful.”

She added, “I’m just excited to watch my husband. It doesn’t matter, as long as he’s safe and healthy and he’s having fun, then I don’t care.”
