Scary Timeline of Attacks On Entertainment Industry:
The entertainment industry has witnessed a disturbing series of murders, shootings and threats in recent years, raising serious questions about the safety of celebrities. From the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in 2022 to the recent firing incident involving Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai, the timeline has become increasingly alarming.
Tiger Shroff Firing Case: 3 accused arrested by Kota Police at a railway station just 15 hours after the firing –
It all began with the shocking murder of Sidhu Moosewala, who was shot dead in Punjab on May 29, 2022. The case brought gang rivalry and organised crime into the national spotlight, with investigators examining alleged links between criminal networks.
In April 2024, two men opened fire outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments residence in Mumbai. The incident triggered a major police investigation, with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility. In May 2024, accused Anuj Thapan died in police custody, adding another troubling development to the case.
October 2024 brought another shocking incident when politician Baba Siddique, a close associate of Salman Khan, was shot dead in Mumbai. The murder intensified concerns about alleged criminal networks and their threats against prominent personalities.
The pattern continued in February 2026, when shots were fired outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence in Juhu, Mumbai. Police subsequently arrested multiple suspects as the investigation examined alleged links to the Bishnoi gang network.
Now, October 2026 has brought another alarming incident. Tiger Shroff’s vehicle was targeted in a firing incident in Mumbai’s Juhu area. The actor escaped serious injury, while police launched an extensive investigation. An alleged gang claim has also brought renewed attention to threats against Bollywood personalities, although investigators must establish the facts through their probe.
These incidents are not all necessarily connected, and each case has its own circumstances. However, their recurrence has made celebrity security a pressing concern. The film industry depends on the freedom of artists to work without intimidation, and repeated incidents of violence cannot be taken lightly.
The question now is whether stronger security measures and effective action against organised crime can prevent another such incident. For an industry that entertains millions, ensuring the safety of its people must remain a priority. We hope for better and safer days for our industry.
