Seven Sleeping Beauties TV Anime Set for 2027
The series is a romantic comedy manga by Fiok Lee, who won the Grand Prize at the Afternoon Four Seasons Award 2019 Winter Contest with Nemurenai. Seven Sleeping Beauties has been serialized in Monthly Afternoon since 2023.The newly released super teaser visual pays homage to the composition of the cover illustration from the first volume of the original manga. It condenses the charm of the princesses into anime style designs. At the same time, the giant thorned briars writhing around the frame create an unsettling atmosphere, raising expectations for the story that will be revealed in the future.
The newly drawn celebration illustration by Fiok Lee depicts the seven princesses dressed in gorgeous outfits. Commenting on the anime adaptation, Fiok Lee said, “I am very happy that a work I have drawn with such care is being adapted into an anime.” Lee also expressed excitement, saying, “The performances by the cast members were so wonderful that my nervousness disappeared. I am looking forward to the finished anime!”

Aya Yamane will voice Flora, the first princess. Flora is generous, slightly airheaded, and has outstanding athletic ability.Yoshino Aoyama will voice Chiara, the second princess, who enjoys teasing others and loves plants and flowers.Miku Itō will voice Clair, the third princess, who dreams of love.Ayasa Itō will voice Mia, the fourth princess, who admires adulthood but is also a little timid.Kana Ichinose will voice Charlotte, the fifth princess, who cannot tolerate anything unjust and often serves as the voice of reason.Fūka Izumi will voice Yuka, the sixth princess, who is full of curiosity and wants to investigate everything.Rina Kawaguchi will voice Elisa, the seventh princess, an energetic girl who loves to eat.
Main Staff Includes Director Mankyu, Keiichiro Ochi, and Miyabi Koseki
The main staff has also been announced. Mankyu, known for The Ramparts of Ice, will direct the anime. Keiichiro Ochi, known for The Quintessential Quintuplets, will handle series composition and the script.
