The circumstances surrounding Braun’s involvement, however, aren’t entirely clear. Puck reported that Braun went around Sweeney’s longtime agent Jennifer Millar to arrange the Huvane meeting.

Millar, who left Paradigm for management firm Brillstein earlier this year, did not respond to Puck‘s request for comment.
Braun spent years managing some of the biggest artists in music, including Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, before retiring from artist management. Sweeney, meanwhile, has increasingly moved beyond acting into producing and business ventures, including her lingerie brand.
The reported career crossover comes shortly after Braun publicly discussed enjoying his relationship with Sweeney during a lengthy appearance on Suzy Weiss’ Second Thought podcast.
“I’ve been having a really good time, building the family office, helping people, meeting great entrepreneurs and making great investments, enjoying my relationship, enjoying my children, enjoying my friends, enjoying my life,” Braun said.
Braun also acknowledged that he’s still considering what his next professional chapter could look like. “I think I’m a little restless,” he said, before adding, “Maybe I want to build something, but I’m going to be patient this time.”
The former manager described his years handling superstar careers as an unusual education in the entertainment business. “Let’s just say I saw everything, okay?” Braun said. “I managed a lot of different personalities, and I saw everything — part of the job is you see the worst, and you see the best of people.”
That experience also came with controversy. Braun became a central figure in Taylor Swift’s battle over her first six albums after his Ithaca Holdings acquired Big Machine Label Group in 2019.
Swift fiercely objected to the deal and subsequently began her blockbuster “Taylor’s Version” re-recording project. Braun later sold the masters to Shamrock Holdings, and Swift ultimately purchased her original recordings back.
