“Sanuki VTuber Festival 2026” to be held in Kagawa on November 1st. Crowdfunding ends July 31st.

On November 1st, the regional collaborative event “Sanuki VTuber Festival 2026” will be held at the Rexxam Hall (Kagawa Prefectural Citizens’ Hall) in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. The event is organized by the Sanuki VTuber Executive Festival Committee. Crowdfunding for the event is underway until July 31st.

This event aims to promote the charms of Kagawa Prefecture both within and outside the prefecture, through collaboration between local VTubers from Kagawa Prefecture, local governments, companies, organizations, and schools. The venue will feature exhibition booths and stage events, as well as a project in which VTubers will introduce and interview all the exhibiting booths. The image character is Usagi Seto Yume, a local VTuber based on Island Shodoshima. The ambassadors are Mizu Yayo, a VTuber who is a mother of one and a working nurse, and Sakana Sanaka, a former fish VTuber.

The crowdfunding campaign is running on CAMPFIRE until July 31st. The funds raised will be used for event venue management and publicity activities, as well as for filming in Kagawa Prefecture by ambassadors and production costs for content that promotes the prefecture’s attractions.
