The 512GB microSD Express card for Nintendo Switch 2 by SanDisk expands your console’s storage and gives you plenty of room to install newer titles without having to delete the ones you currently own. It also takes performance seriously, so you’ll enjoy faster load and boot times just as well.
This microSD card comes with a retail price of $200, but it’s now available for $160 on Amazon. The offer saves you $40. The discount isn’t huge, but saving a bit of money outside of major sale events is still nice if you’re going to pick up a microSD card anyway. The retailer is also adding a 90-day free trial to Amazon Music Unlimited with the order, so you can explore the services and browse through millions of songs, thousands of audiobooks, and more without actually paying for a subscription – for three whole months!
Expands storage and offers great speeds
This tiny card offers 512GB of extra storage space to your console. That’s plenty of additional room to house more of your favorite titles without deleting the older games. Constantly worrying about running out of storage just spoils the excitement of newer releases, so this microSD card takes care of that. You can also use it to store video clips and capture screenshots of your cool in-game moves.
The card plays nicely with your internal storage, which means you can keep your library in one place! Performance is just as excellent. The microSD Express card delivers read speeds up to 880 MB/s and write speeds up to 650 MB/s, both of which ensure pretty fast load and data transfer times. Games won’t take forever to load, and you can jump in on the action within seconds. Similarly, moving files around gets more bearable when you don’t have to stare at a never-ending progress bar. Of course, the actual speeds will depend on quite a few factors (like the task at hand), but this should give you a good idea of what to expect.
Despite the small size, this thing is also pretty durable and can survive everyday wear and tear without much problem. All things considered, if you’re looking to boost storage of your Nintendo Switch 2 with a microSD card but want something that doesn’t compromise on performance and also doesn’t cost a ton, the 512GB microSD Express card does all that and more. It’s now down 20% on Amazon, which drops the price from $200 to $160. The offer is open to all shoppers right now.
