We are now tracking a deal at Amazon that drops Samsung’s 25-inch Odyssey G4 (G40H) 300Hz gaming monitor to $169.99 shipped. This particular model hit the scene earlier this year carrying a $300 price tag, but it has more recently been fetching close to $255. Today’s deal delivers a 33% discount and takes $85 off its usual going rate. We’ve seen it fall to the $200 range before and more recently down to $190 during the recent fall Prime Day sale, but today’s offer knocks another $20 off to set a new all-time low. It’s a pretty good option to consider if you’re looking to pick up a speedy, competitive display for your battlestation, and you can learn more about it in detail below.
Samsung’s 25-inch Odyssey G4 (G40H) sports a Full HD Fast IPS panel with a 300Hz refresh rate, making it a nice fit for competitive titles where smooth motion and higher frame rates matter more than having the sharpest display. You also get a 1ms response time and AMD FreeSync Premium support to help cut down on tearing during fast-paced gameplay, along with HDR10 for compatible games and media. Other noteworthy features of this display include a fairly simple and minimal design, a height-adjustable stand to help you dial in the right viewing position, and a good selection of ports to get you things like an HDMI, DisplayPort, and more.
Woot also has a bunch of gaming monitors on sale right now, and you can save up to 51% by cashing in on those deals. There are a handful of solid offers worth checking out in the sale, with prices starting at just $68.
