Rosario Dawson is collecting movie franchises, and she’s not done yet. Looking at the actress’s filmography, you’ll see plenty of iconic roles in some of the most successful cinematic universes. However, she has her eyes set on her next prize – a spot on the X-Men.
While the 20th Century Fox version of the X-Men have appeared in numerous Marvel Studios projects, it’s generally assumed that Kevin Feige will get around to introducing a new version of the group in the Sacred Timeline. When that happens, Rosario Dawson is ready to answer the call.
“I want to do a heaving-chest corset drama as a vampire. That’s it. That’s all I’m asking for. Also, X-Men maybe. Star Trek. I just want to be in all the universes. I’m in View Askewniverse, I’m in DC, I’m in the Disney world,” Rosario Dawson says during a panel at Florida Supercon.
I will add that when she mentioned X-Men, the actress paused as the audience loudly cheered. It should be noted that Rosario Dawson already has a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Claire Temple, a nurse that appeared in Daredevil and the other Marvel Netflix shows.
Still, if Robert Downey Jr. could come back as someone other than Tony Stark, there’s nothing stopping Rosario Dawson from coming back as one of the X-Men. My vote is Polaris.
