    Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass paid DLC Part 1, Bubbly Basin is set to release on 5 August! Announcing additional information on Part 2 of the Paid DLC! There’s more new details on the Ver. 2.0.0 Free software update will be released on the same day!

    If you’re ready to dive back into the Pokémon™ Pokopia game, new content will be available 5 August. Firstly, a free update will be available to everyone who has Pokémon™ Pokopia. After updating, you’ll be able to learn Dive, which lets you move around and build underwater.

    Secondly, let’s talk about the paid DLC. Expansion Pass Part 1: Bubbly Basin also comes out 5 August, adding an entirely new underwater area. You can look forward to new adventures, tasty in-game watermelons, buoyant blocks that let you make floating buildings, an additional Dream Island, new furniture items, and more!

    Please check out the video for a peek at the new content. You’ll also get your first look at Part 2 of the paid DLC—info about the third and final part will be shared in the future!

    Town development expands even more with the Paid DLC, Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass—Part 1: Bubbly Basin

    The paid DLC, Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass—Part 1: Bubbly Basin will be released on Wednesday, 5 August! Here is the latest information.

    Visit Bubbly Basin with Popplio

    Alongside Popplio, Ditto arrives at a new town: Bubbly Basin. By fulfilling requests from a variety of Pokémon you meet under the sea—starting with Popplio—you can develop the town little by little.

    Watermelon–A New Food You Can Grow!

    In Bubbly Basin, watermelons will be added to the available food in Pokopia! Seedlings in underwater crop fields will be able to grow if a Pokémon with the Water specialty (such as Mudkip) covers them with bubbles to provide air. Also, as usual, you can have a Pokémon with the Grow specialty help speed up crop growth!

    Use Buoyant Blocks to develop a town only possible underwater

    Notes:
    *The Ver. 2.0.0 Free software update must be applied to your game before you can play the Bubbly Basin paid DLC.
    *In order to begin the paid DLC Bubbly Basin, you will need to complete the request “Raise the environment level!” in Bleak Beach. You will also need to learn the newly added move Dive included in the Free software update.

    Accessories appear as a new feature in the paid DLC, Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass—Part 2

    In the paid DLC, Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass—Part 2, you will be able to enjoy dressing up alongside other Pokémon by wearing accessories. In addition to the many accessories, additional furniture pieces and Pokémon will also appear.

    Note: A new town will not be added in Part 2.

    Part 2 is scheduled for release in late 2026.

    The Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass including Parts 1 through 3 is now available for purchase

    The Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass paid DLC contains Parts 1 through 3. Read more details about each part below.

    Part 1: Bubbly Basin (Available Wednesday, 5 August, 2026)

    • A new town, Bubbly Basin, will be added!

    • Additional Pokémon, furniture, and more!

    Part 2 (Available in late 2026)

    • Accessories, additional Pokémon and furniture, and more are planned!

    Note: A new town will not be added in Part 2.

    Dive, a newly added move in the upcoming Pokémon Pokopia Ver. 2.0.0 Free software update

    Here is some detailed information about the Ver. 2.0.0 Free software update, which will be available for everyone who owns Pokémon Pokopia to enjoy.

    Manaphy will teach you Dive, a move that allows you to move freely underwater.
    In order to learn Dive, you will need to complete the request “Raise the environment level!” in Bleak Beach and know the moves Surf and how to jump.

    Note: You will be able to befriend Manaphy in the paid DLC.

    Develop towns underwater using Dive

    Once you have learned Dive, you can swim along with Water-type Pokémon and build places for relaxation or even a crop field underwater. You can even lay down railway tracks from land to underwater and ride a handcar all the way through! You can now enjoy building a town underwater, where previously you couldn’t stay for very long.

    The Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass paid DLC is available to purchase on Nintendo eShop.

    *Full version of game required to use DLC. Sold separately.
    *Individual DLC parts cannot be purchased separately.
    *This title includes modes and features that require an Internet connection and a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.
