There’s a lot of action happening in Pokémon Champions this month. A new Monthly Challenge Series (MCS) is kicking off along with a new Ranked Battles season and the availability of a new Battle Pass. By taking part in these events, Trainers can obtain Pokémon and items. Here’s what’s in store:
Monthly Challenge Series July 2026
Battles are on the horizon with the Monthly Challenge Series July 2026 competition taking place Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 6:59 p.m. PDT. Remember, before you can battle like a champion, you need to register to compete. The entry period runs from Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 6:59 p.m. PDT. This competition follows Regulation M-B and will use the Single Battle format. For the full list of eligible Pokémon, regulations, and other details, refer to the in-game news.
To enter the competition, go to Battle, then Online Competitions, and then select Monthly Challenge Series July 2026 from the list. Registration will remain open until the end of the event. After the event ends and results are announced, qualifying players who finished three or more matches with a win or loss during the event period will be eligible for rewards
To view your rankings and collect your rewards, follow these steps:
- After the competition has ended, launch your Pokémon Champions game.
- Select Battle.
- Select Online Competitions.
- Collect your rewards from your in-game mailbox.
Rewards
Trainers who participate in three or more battles will be eligible for a participation prize that includes a Mawile, 100 Quick Coupons, and the title of MCS 07/2026 Challenger. Depending on how highly you place at the event’s conclusion, you can earn the following titles:
- MCS 07/2026 Master: 1st to 10th place
- MCS 07/2026 Veteran: 11th to 100th place
- MCS 07/2026 Ace: 101st to 1,000th place
- MCS 07/2026 Rising Star: 1,001st to 10,000th place
Ranked Battles Season M-4
Take on Trainers from around the world in Ranked Battles to earn in-game rewards based on the rank you reach or the placement you achieve. Ranked Battles Season M-4 runs from Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. PDT to Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 6:59 p.m. PDT. The Champion Tier and Rank 1 through Rank 3 of the Master Ball Tier will open on the evening of Tuesday, July 14—one week after the start of the season
Battle Pass M-4
The new season’s Battle Pass, Battle Pass M-4, is available from Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. PDT to Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 6:59 p.m. PDT. As the level of your Battle Pass increases, you’ll be able to earn various rewards. You can raise the level of a Battle Pass by taking part in Ranked Battles and competitions to obtain Season Points
You can also purchase a Premium Battle Pass which lets you receive additional rewards when the level of your Battle Pass increases
