PlayStation is testing a new Wallet Credits rewards program that gives players $10 back on select game purchases

TL;DR: Screenshots and user reports show a new PS Store “Wallet Credits” feature giving $10 back on certain game purchases; sightings vary by account and title (e.g., The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Halloween: The Game, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Star Wars Zero Company). Sony hasn’t confirmed the test yet.

Despite Sony being tight-lipped about any upcoming features for PlayStation users, signs of a new PlayStation rewards system keep surfacing in different forms. In a screenshot posted to X, Zuby_Tech shows a standalone “Wallet Credits” tile inside the PS Store, with $10 seemingly earned from a game purchase. At the time of writing, it’s unclear which regions and games this new cashback scheme applies to.

Other players have reported similar findings. According to posts from realradec and GameRoll_ on X, some users have seen $10 in wallet credit land automatically after buying specific new titles, including The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Halloween: The Game, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, and Star Wars Zero Company, as far as reported.

One thing worth noting is that Zuby_Tech’s screenshot shows the price in British pounds, suggesting a UK account, but earlier reports from Insider Gaming said they couldn’t replicate the Wallet Credit offer on UK consoles when testing it themselves. That suggests the feature is currently being tested across select accounts rather than being tied to a specific region or user base.

However, these claims are not appearing out of nowhere, either. Back in February 2026, an unreleased “Wallet Credits” app briefly appeared in the PS Store before vanishing again. What’s surfacing now looks like the same feature. The timing also lines up with PlayStation Stars, Sony’s current points-based loyalty program, shutting down on November 2, 2026.

Which PlayStation accounts or regions are currently seeing the Wallet Credits tile?

It’s not confirmed for any specific region yet. The screenshot that surfaced shows a price in British pounds, which suggests a UK account, but other testing reportedly could not reproduce it on UK consoles, so it looks like Sony is testing it across select accounts rather than a fixed region.
    Question #2

Which games have been reported to trigger the $10 wallet credit so far?

Is Wallet Credits appearing only on UK PS Store accounts, or on other regions too?

Can players see Wallet Credits on PS5, PS4, or both?

Have a question that isn’t listed here? Ask below, and TweakBot will answer it.

Wallet Credits seems closely related and could be an alternative that Sony is quietly testing as it works out what comes next before we say goodbye to PlayStation Stars. Details are still changing depending on who reports the latest sighting, and Sony still hasn’t confirmed anything. So if you spot anything similar on your own PS Store account, taking a screenshot is probably worth it.
