Sommers calls out Zoro
According to the plot leaks, the chapter is titled Things Never Stay the Same and mainly focuses on the battle between Saint Sommers and Roronoa Zoro. Sommers is initially frightened by Zoro’s attack, but he soon realizes that Zoro cannot properly control his Conqueror’s Haki.
Sommers mocks Zoro, calling him stupid and useless. However, Zoro continues trying to use his Haki during their battle.
Sommers keeps on regenerating after Zoro’s attack
During the fight, Zoro pierces Sommers through the back with his sword and touches his heart again, but the attack does not damage him. Zoro then continues attacking while trying to control his Conqueror’s Haki.
The leaked spoilers say Zoro cuts Sommers’ body into pieces, but the Holy Knight regenerates each time. Sommers eventually becomes increasingly angry and frustrated as Zoro continues practicing his Haki.
Zoro finally controls his Haki
During the battle, Zoro remembers his training with Mihawk and advice from his former teacher.
Mihawk tells Zoro, “Roronoa, things never stay the same forever. But there is one thing that can remain unchanged.”
As Sommers grows tired of regenerating and prepares to kill Zoro, Zoro remembers Mihawk’s final words and ties his bandana around his head.
Mihawk tells him, “Conqueror’s Haki is the power to sense one’s own strength!! And it’s so powerful that weak people will be unable to stand against you!!”
The chapter ends with Zoro controlling his Conqueror’s Haki through all three of his swords. Black lightning and flames surround his swords, resembling the visual effect seen during his fight with King.
Zoro appears ready to finish his battle with Sommers.
The leaks also indicate that One Piece will be on a break next week. Chapter 1194 is officially scheduled for release on September 27.
