Captain Tsubasa artwork “No.001 Captain Tsubasa” has sold for approximately ¥12.8 million in an online auction, setting a new record for art brand GAAAT.
GAAAT Inc. announced that the piece was auctioned as part of the traveling art exhibition “Captain Tsubasa ONE WORLD ONE TEAM Art Exhibition 2026,” based on the soccer manga Captain Tsubasa by Yoichi Takahashi. The artwork sold for approximately ¥12.8 million.
The artwork is a large scale Metal Canvas Art piece, with only one copy produced worldwide. The auction attracted bids from Japan and overseas, and the winning bidder is a resident of Hong Kong. The final price marked the highest amount ever recorded in an auction conducted by GAAAT.

The “Captain Tsubasa ONE WORLD ONE TEAM Art Exhibition 2026” began its international tour in the United States and is scheduled to visit cities including Hong Kong, Berlin, Milan, Barcelona and Tokyo. GAAAT’s official exhibition page currently lists these cities as future destinations.
