Omoiannounced during its industry panel at Anime NYC 2026 that it has licensed theLove Is the Sweetest Journeymanga series, as well as several manga additions from Titan Manga and a print release ofA Snow Fox at the Northern Fort.
Love Is the Sweetest Journeyis a 2023 romantic comedy manga written byMomoshiroand drawn byTomoko Mitsuki. It was originally published in Japan under the nameTabi wa Ui Mono Amai Monoin Bungeishunju’s josei manga magazine Seasons.
Omoi will begin releasing English chapters of the manga in 2027 and be exclusively available through the Omoi Premium digital subscription. The synopsis is described as:
Suzune was just about to turn 30 when her boyfriend of three years dumped her, and admitted he had been cheating the whole time! Furious and depressed, she heads to Miyazaki Prefecture to cleanse her soul while filming videos for her travel-themed social channel. There she meets Yuujin, a mysterious young novelist struggling with writer’s block. After a drunken night together, Yuujin realizes Suzune might be just the inspiration he needs, and asks her an unexpected question: “will you travel with me?” A delightfully sweet romantic travelogue about discovering new places together, featuring real locations throughout Japan!
In addition,Banjo Saitou’sVegetable Sandwichmanga series fromManga Mavericks Bookswill be available on Omoi Premium, starting on September 29, 2026.
Omoi is also partnering with Scholastic’s Graphix imprint to release the 2020 fantasy manga seriesA Snow Fox at the Northern Fortin black-and-white print editions, starting in fall 2027. The service began digitally serializing the series in June 2026.
A total of 45 manga titles fromTitan Mangaare also arriving on Omoi in the coming weeks and will be available to read in full on its premium subscription plan. Early volumes from three series —Sanda,Record Journey, andThe Elegant Courtly Life of the Tea Witch— are now available today, and the full catalog will be available in the coming weeks. Manga volumes can also be purchased directly and premium members will be able to get 20% off all such purchases.
