Nintendo has just announced a physical collectible card set based on the digital rewards for the DK Challenge. Only players who are able to complete every mission in the DK Challenge before the end of the event will be able to receive it.
There are a total of 39 cards to be produced with 24 from the featured challenges in Donkey Kong Bananza, and 15 from the featured challenges across Nintendo Switch Online’s retro library of Donkey Kong games. My Nintendo platinum points won’t be required for redemption.
Nintendo had announced the DK challenge back in their June 2026 Nintendo Direct as an event exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online members on Nintendo Switch 2. The challenge entails completing tasks across multiple Donkey Kong games from various console generations. Donkey Kong Bananza is also included in this event, with various platforming challenges within the game being featured.
Again the challenge is only available to Nintendo Switch Online members playing on a Nintendo Switch 2, and on top of that the game Donkey Kong Bananza is required to complete every mission in the challenge. Players have until September 1, 2026 to complete every mission, and if they are able to then they’ll be emailed on how to redeem the physical card set sometime in October.
You can see a trailer for the DK challenge itself below.

The DK Challenge will run until September 1, 2026. We’ve actually posted a guide on how to beat every mission, which you can read here.
