Nick Cannon is preparing to give viewers an intimate look inside his unconventional family life.
The 45-year-old entertainer said his forthcoming Netflix docuseries will address the questions people have about his life as a father of 12 children with six women. Cannon told <a href="https://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/nick-cannon-says-docuseries-will-answer-family-questions/” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>Us Weekly that the project will let viewers see the reality directly, so they don’t have to rely on speculation.
The still-untitled series is expected to premiere this winter. According to Netflix, it will follow Cannon as he balances his career with the complicated logistics, emotional moments, and occasional chaos of raising a large blended family.
Cannon said the cameras captured a side of his life that is “more open and more vulnerable.” He also believes viewers may be surprised by how much love exists among his family members.
The Masked Singer host acknowledged that inviting cameras into their homes required the trust of his children’s mothers. Some initially questioned whether participating would expose them and their children to even more public scrutiny, but Cannon said they ultimately agreed to support him.

Cannon shares twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He also has children with Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Bre Tiesi, LaNisha Cole and Alyssa Scott. His son Zen, whom he shared with Scott, died from brain cancer at five months old in 2021.
Netflix previously described the project as a mix of humor, vulnerability, and modern parenting, with Cannon trying to stay an active father while maintaining his entertainment career.
Despite the potential scrutiny, Cannon said he is not nervous about revealing more of his personal life.
“There are no secrets and nothing to hide,” he said.
