Saturday night meant big Marvel Cinematic Universe news as Kevin Feige took to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con. Ryan Gosling was announced as the new Ghost Rider for a 2028 movie with the same name, and director Ryan Coogler introduced David Jonsson as the new Black Panther for Black Panther 3 in December of 2028. There was also a handful of stars from this winter’s Avengers: Doomsday, on site to talk about the movie and introduce a new, secret clip.

According to Variety, the VIP scene featured quick hits of characters like Thor, Captain America, the Fantastic Four, Loki, Shang-Chi and more. There was also an explanation of the movie’s big villain — Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom — courtesy of Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) of the Fantastic Four. Storm and Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) have the most established relationship with Victor Von Doom in the comics.

“Victor was always the smartest guy in the room. He used to be different,” Storm monologued, per Variety. “Everything he loved was taken from him.”

When is the Avengers: Doomsday release date?

Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on December 18.
