Nintendo maintenance schedule – July 26, 2026 – lots of games downtime incoming

Nintendo has released its maintenance schedule for the week of July 26, 2026.
The previously announced Nintendo Switch Online maintenance for next month is still on the docket. On top of that though, a new session has been added.
Maintenance is kicking off in a few hours for a bunch of different Nintendo Switch games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Pokemon Scarlet / Violet. While that’s happening, Nintendo says all network services will be unavailable.
Below is the full Nintendo maintenance schedule for the week of July 26, 2026:
Switch 2 / Switch – online play of software
– 5:30 PM PT (July 26) – 1 AM PT (July 27)
– 8:30 PM ET (July 26) – 4 AM ET (July 27)
– 1:30 AM in the UK (July 27) – 9 AM in the UK (July 27)
– 2:30 AM in Europe (July 27) – 10 AM in Europe (July 27)
The following games will be affected
– Kirby and the Forgotten Land (including Nintendo Switch 2 Edition)
– Nintendo Switch Sports
– F-Zero 99
– Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
– Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
– Animal Crossing: New Horizons (including Nintendo Switch 2 Edition)
– Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet
– Network services for some software
Nintendo Switch Online services – Switch 2 / Switch
– 10 PM PT (August 17) – 12 AM PT (August 18)
– 1 AM ET (August 18) – 3 AM ET (August 18)
– 6 AM in the UK (August 18) – 8 AM in the UK (August 18)
– 7 AM in Europe (August 18) – 9 AM in Europe (August 18)
