But this fall promises even more anime to catch up on. Last weekend, Anime Expo 2026 announced three new series, two of which will debut this fall on Netflix. Here’s what we know:
STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

This is the newest installment of the highly anticipated adaptation of Part 7 of Hirohiko Akari’s manga series about a cross-country horse race in the 1890s. As the synopsis goes, “Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli take on a grueling long-distance stage across the desert. The land that they must challenge is home to the area that is feared as the ‘Devil’s Palm.’ As ominous incidents unfold, they realize that this race is far more than a mere competition. The two press forward into the 2nd STAGE of the 9 STAGES, where countless hidden motives collide.”

The Ramparts of Ice Season 2
Based on Kocha Agasawa’s popular manga series “The Ramparts of Ice,” this story is about Koyuki Hikawa, a socially withdrawn student who only spends time with her longtime friend, Miki Azumi. “One day, her quiet life is disrupted when a boy named Minato Amamiya inexplicably starts trying to break through her barriers,” the synopsis reads. “The aloof Koyuki, the high school idol Miki, the overly familiar Minato and the laid-back basketball player Yota share an awkward, occasionally frustrating, yet wholesome student life.”

Delicious in Dungeon Season 2
October 2027 premiere
