Natalie Portman is feeling all the love and thunder.
After the Thoractress welcomed her third baby—her first with boyfriend Tanguy Destable—in September, her bundle of joy has bringing exactly that to her life.
As she told Harper’s Bazaarin an interview published Oct. 26, Portman—also mom to Aleph, 15, and Amalia, 9, with ex-husband Benjamin Millepeid—is “full of wonder and joy at this magical little human.”
“It gives me a whole new attention to my big kids too,” she added, “as I am reminded of how recently they were these little fresh creations and how quickly they’ve blossomed into incredible humans with their own amazing personalities and senses of humor and ideas.”
Other than this latest look into life as a mom to three, Portman and Destable—who were first linked in March 2025—have otherwise kept the details surrounding their new baby private. In fact, it’s part of the reason the Star Warsalum prefers living in Paris, having called the City of Love home for more than a decade.

“When I was pregnant in New York and L.A., I was followed by 20 men every day,” she explained to Harper’s Bazaar. “There’s so much interest in pregnant women in particular. I’d never been bothered more. And here, they know, and I’ve been almost completely left alone.”
Portman and Destable, a French music producer, shared their pregnancy news in April, with Portman marveling over the sheer fact she was expecting.
“Tanguy and I are very excited,” the 45-year-old told Harper’s Bazaar at the time. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”
As she noted, as the daughter of a fertility doctor, she “grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,” and in her adult life had also had “so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it.”
Nevertheless, Portman was reveling in the out-of-this-world feeling.
Calling her pregnancy “such a beautiful, joyous thing,” she added, “I have deep appreciation and gratitude.”
And even though this marked her third time welcoming a child into this world, Portman noted she and Destable weren’t taking experience for granted, making sure they were up to date on their baby books.
“We’re going to make lots of mistakes, no matter how hard we try,” she admitted. “And also, we’re going to do a lot right without having to do research.”
Nevertheless, “I feel like if you’re just present and loving,” she reflected, “that’s the best thing possible.”
