An interactive virtual exhibition, “Footprints of Heroes,” commemorating the 10th anniversary of the anime “My Hero Academia,” will be held at the Anique Museum within the VR platform “VRChat.” The exhibition will run from 12:00 PM on August 28, 2026 to 11:59 PM on September 27, 2026. Participation is free.

This exhibition allows you to explore iconic spaces from the series, such as U.A. High School and Deku’s room. It traces the heroes’ journey through various objects and displays. Interactive elements are also included, allowing visitors to get closer, look at, and even touch items.

Compatible devices include smartphones and tablets (iOS and Android), and Windows PCs. Participation with VR equipment is possible, but you can enter even without a VR device.

A museum shop will also be set up inside the venue. You can examine the actual merchandise as if you were holding it in your hands in VRChat. Purchases will be made through the e-commerce site “Anique Shop”.

In addition, original merchandise featuring the key visual will be available for pre-order. The sales period will be the same as the exhibition, from August 28th to September 27th, 2026. The lineup of merchandise will be announced later on a special webpage and Anique’s official social media accounts.

The anime “My Academia Hero” is based on the manga of the same name by Horikoshi Kohei. The manga has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. The first season of the anime aired in April 2016. A total of eight seasons have been broadcast by the time of the FINAL SEASON in 2025, and four theatrical films have also been released.

The event is organized by Anique Inc., which plans and sells licensed merchandise, holds pop-up stores, operates collaboration cafes, and develops XR and metaverse businesses.
