Megan Thee Stallion is an iconic figure in Halloween costumes every year. The star rapper is so good at cosplaying even when it’s not Halloween that she always goes the extra mile when the holiday approaches, coming up with elaborate costumes to wear. And this year was no exception, with the “WAP” rapper electrifying as Starfire of the perfect George Perez-era New Teen Titans.

    Megan Thee Stallion as Starfire

Last year, she decided to dress up as Death the Kid from the Soul Eater anime for Halloween. This year, she stopped doing extensive anime cosplay and instead tried her hand at classic DC superhero characters.

What is Megan Thee Stallion wearing in “Hottieween”?

Megan Thee Stallion typically shares at least two or three costumes in the days leading up to Halloween, but then she dons yet another costume for her annual “Hottie Vienna” celebration. Last year, in addition to her Soul Eater costume, she also donned flowers from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland and a female Gremlin outfit from Gremlins 2: The New Batch. So while her entry into Starfire is likely only the first costume she’ll debut this Halloween season, it was quite the opening statement for the famous rapper…

Some of the Starfire costume photos she shared on social media featured special effects, but the coolest for comic book fans was an image of herself as Starfire against the backdrop of the actual Tales of the New Teen Titans cover starring Starfire.

As you can see, she totally nailed the classic George Perez design of the famous character created by Perez and Wolfman as part of their iconic run on the New Teen Titans (classic characters Cyborg and Raven also debuted).

Megan Thee Stallion also shared three more images of her role as Starfire on her Instagram, this time drawing praise from none other than DC Studios head James Gunn who called her “incredible.”

Megan Thee Stallion, who says she “literally starts my day with cartoons and ends my day with cartoons,” has also shown her love for superheroes, with a high-profile cameo in She-Hulk where she taught Jennifer Walters how to twerk.

In a recent promotional video she created to promote Venom: The Last Dance, she showed off her long tongue to Venom…

Anime, Marvel, and now DC are completely taken over by Megan Thee Stallion!
