Toy giant McFarlane Toys has officially teased a nice expansion to its popular line of 7-inch scale action figures, shifting the spotlight directly onto the McFarlane Toys Green Lantern Corps.

In a recent reveal across their official social media channels, McFarlane Toys showcased an exciting lineup of cosmic heroes and villains, promising that pre-orders will be opening in the near future. The preview gives collectors their first official look at four fan-favorite cosmic characters: Sinestro, Medphyll, Naut Ke Loi, and Ghr’ll, while teasing that even more additions are on the horizon.

A Stellar Lineup of Cosmic Guardians

The newly teased figures highlight both iconic headliners and obscure fan favorites from the deep lore of DC Comics’ cosmic pantheon:

    • Sinestro: Rendering one of Hal Jordan’s greatest adversaries in action figure form, Sinestro appears in his classic costume. Whether displayed alongside his Green Lantern allies or set up as the founder of the Sinestro Corps, his inclusion provides a vital foil to any Justice League shelf.
    • Medphyll: Hailing from the planet J586, this sentient plant-based Green Lantern is a long-standing member of the Corps. Medphyll has been a staple in major DC storylines for decades, making his debut in the 7-inch scale a major win for world-building.
    • Naut Ke Loi: Representing the aquatic planet Aeros, Naut Ke Loi wears a specialized water-filled helmet to survive in oxygen atmospheres. His unique visual design translates into a visually stunning figure for alien display setups.
    • Ghr’ll: Known for his distinct insectoid features, Ghr’ll represents the deep cosmic diversity of the Emerald Warriors. Bringing lesser-known Lanterns into the plastic medium highlights McFarlane Toys’ commitment to deep-cut characters.

What Collectors Need to Know About Pre-Orders

While McFarlane Toys hasn’t locked in an exact drop time yet, the announcement confirmed that pre-orders are “COMING SOON!” Historical release patterns for the DC Multiverse line suggest that pre-orders usually go live within a few days to two weeks following a initial teaser announcement.

You should prepare for these figures to launch across major online retailer platforms, including the McFarlane Toys Store, Amazon, Entertainment Earth, GameStop, Walmart, and BigBadToyStore. There are rumors circulating that this is going to be exclusive to McFarlane Toys Store though. Given the popularity of army-building cosmic teams, key figures from this wave are expected to move quickly.

    Expanding the DC Multiverse Universe

The addition of deep-cut alien Green Lanterns fills a major gap that DC action figure fans have wanted for years. While classic heroes like Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Kyle Rayner have previously received figure releases, building out a full corps requires diverse alien sculpts.

McFarlane’s teaser explicitly noted that there are “MORE to come…”, signaling that this preview is only a sample of a wider cosmic wave. Whether that means additional Green Lanterns, rival Corps members like the Red or Star Sapphire factions, or a massive MegaFigure release remains to be seen.

Stay tuned to DCCollectors for instant updates, pre-order links, and full breakdown reviews as soon as McFarlane Toys releases official images and release dates for the Green Lantern Corps wave.
