July 13 (UPI) –Amazon MGM Studios is teasing the new film Spaceballs 2
The studio shared a poster for the movie, <a href="https://comicvibe.com/tom-cruise-transforms-in-digger-official-trailer/” title=”Tom Cruise transforms in 'Digger' official trailer”>officially titled Spaceballs: The New One, on Monday
Spaceballs: The New One is a sequel to the 1987 comedy Spaceballs, directed, co-written by and starring Mel Brooks. The films parody Star Wars and other popular franchises
Brooks will return to star in and produce the sequel, which is directed by Josh Greenbaum and co- Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit
Other cast members include Gad, Rick Moranis, Bill Pullman, Lewis Pullman, Keke Palmer, Daphne Zuniga, George Wyner and Anthony Carrigan
Theposter depicts two characters brushing the number “2” in the sand with a giant comb, a reference to President Skroob (Brooks) commanding his forces to “comb the desert” in the original film
