Lenovo is expanding its entry-level gaming lineup with the new LOQ Tower 17IRH11. The 17-liter desktop was announced alongside the budget-oriented LOQ Essential 15IRH11 and LOQ Essential 15IPH11 gaming laptops, which have since started rolling out in some Asian markets.
Interestingly, Lenovo is once again using Intel Core 200 series laptop processors in its gaming desktop. According to the PSREF website, the LOQ Tower 17IRH11 will be offered with either the Core 5 205H or the Core 7 230H. Both Raptor Lake chips should trail the more powerful Core Ultra 7 255HX available in the current LOQ Tower Gen 10. Lenovo pairs the mobile processors with up to 32GB of dual-channel DDR5-5200 RAM across two SODIMM slots.

The GPU selection is more encouraging, with desktop Nvidia options ranging from the older RTX 3050 (for some reason) to the newer RTX 5050, RTX 5060, and RTX 5060 Ti. The newer RTX 50-series options should comfortably handle modern games at 1080p resolution. Preconfigured storage tops out at 1TB, though there is room to add more, with two M.2 slots and an extra 3.5-inch drive bay.
Other highlights include a choice of a 400W or 500W power supply, Wi-Fi 7 support, and plenty of ports, including front-facing 5Gbps USB-C and 10Gbps USB-A ports. Lenovo has not announced pricing or a release date, but it has already listed multiple regional SKUs for Europe on its PSREF website, including Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and the Nordic countries.
