Epic Games puts out a massive Bat-hint
It looks like LEGO Fortnite will soon be adding new content based on the Dark Knight, if the latest social media posts from Epic Games are anything to go by.
It almost feels like a week can’t go by without Fortnite gaining yet another pop culture IP, whether that’s based on a well-known movie franchise, cartoon or rap star. Now comes a massive hint from Epic Games that fresh content themed around Batman may be on the way soon, thanks to recent social media posts from the company.
A basic animated image of the Bat signal lighting up the night sky has been pushed out on the likes of Instgram, with an enigmatic tagline stating that, ‘We’re not in Gotham City anymore…’
That would certainly seem to suggest that Batman will be returning to Fortnite and LEGO Fortnite at some point in the near future, although no <a href="https://comicvibe.com/nvidia-dlss-5-can-be-patched-to-run-on-rtx-40-gpus-without-official-support/” title=”Nvidia DLSS 5 can be patched to run on RTX 40 GPUs without official support”>official date has been revealed for whatever that potential content might be so far.
The Caped Crusader previously popped up in the main game mode back in 2019 during Season X and even inspired an accompanying Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comic collaboration published by DC.
What’s more, a LEGO Batman minifigure appeared in the game earlier this year to celebrate the release of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, as part of a Pen & Ink outfit that could be purchased for 1,500 V-Bucks.
It’s possible that any new Dark Knight-related LEGO Fortnite content could appear on or before September 19, 2026, which will be the date that DC Comics has officially marked as Batman Day this year, but that’s just speculation on our part for now.
