Kai Cenat has sent a cease-and-desist letter to former friend and streaming partner Reggie Travers, accusing him of spreading false claims about the streamer.
According to <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2026/10/23/kai-cenat-cease-and-desist-to-ex-friend/" rel="nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>TMZ, Cenat’s legal team sent the letter on October 2. It reportedly demands that Reggie remove videos containing what Cenat’s lawyers described as “false and misleading statements.”
Cenat’s attorneys specifically denied Reggie’s claims that the streamer groomed 17-year-old creator Rakai or exchanged sex for platforming.

Kai Cenat denies Reggie’s allegations
“We want to be unequivocal: The suggestion that Mr. Cenat has ever engaged in any form of pedophilia, or exchanged sex for platforming any person, is categorically false,” the letter reportedly stated.
The letter also accused Reggie of providing no evidence to support his allegations and claimed that his behavior had caused harm to Cenat’s reputation. Cenat’s legal team further alleged that Reggie had threatened to harm the streamer or people associated with him, saying the claims had caused employees to fear for their safety and disrupted business.
Reggie, who was previously part of the Clover Boys alongside Cenat and Rakai, appeared to show alleged court documents involving the dispute in a video. He said he was prepared to fight the case in court.
The legal move follows a public feud between the former friends. Reggie previously made allegations about Cenat’s relationship with Rakai, while Rakai denied the claims. Cenat responded by rejecting the accusations and suggested that legal action could follow.
Cenat’s team has not publicly confirmed whether a lawsuit or restraining order had officially been granted.
