DUBAI: Japanese voice actor Yuki Matsuoka, who is known for her role as Orihime Inoue in ‘BLEACH,’ will attend Dubai’s FNDM from Oct. 31 to Nov. 1 at Dubai Outlet Mall.
Matsuoka has portrayed the character in ‘Bleach’ since the original anime and continues to reprise the role in ‘BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War.’
With a career spanning more than two decades, Matsuoka has become one of Japan’s recognizable anime and gaming voice talents, with credits including Ayumu “Osaka” Kasuga in ‘Azumanga Daioh,’ Aiko Senoo in ‘Ojamajo Doremi, and Alisa Bosconovitch in the ‘Tekken’ series.
Her FNDM appearance gives fans the opportunity to meet the voice behind one of BLEACH’s most beloved characters.
Held by the organizers of Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC), FNDM is a fan-favorite community event that celebrates pop culture.
Across two days, fans will be at the center of the action, with cosplay, trading card games, K-pop, and community-led experiences bringing FNDM to life.
From the Cosplay Fusion Competition to the Cosplay Catwalk, FNDM will give the community their own space to celebrate together.
On Nov. 1, FNDM is also set to host the largest Pokémon Pack Battle, turning one of the world’s most recognizable trading card games into a shared experience for fans on the show floor.
“Fandom is about that feeling of finding your people and living your passion,” Loy Pinheiro, Show Director of FNDM, said. “Whether you’re deep into anime or chasing your favorite Pokémon, FNDM Dubai is where those pop culture worlds are truly celebrated and where they come alive
“FNDM Dubai is a declaration that pop culture is one of the most powerful forces how people connect today, and we’re just getting started,” he added.
Standard tickets are on sale from AED 75.
