The indie anime short filmLOCA!, about two kids who discover an operable train in a post-apocalyptic world, has been made available on YouTube for a limited amount of time.
LOCA!was conceived and produced by the student collective Studio Car-No.3. uttama andMyano are credited as the directors, storyboard artists, layout artists, and look development artists. The former is also the concept artist, background artist, and title logo designer, while the latter is the compositing director
Lila Aoyagi provided the original character designs and promotional illustrations, with Nakamurami developing the animation charater designs. Nakamurami is also the main animator and animation director.
The original short anime was screened at Kyoto Seika University on March 5, 2025 and shown in theaters like Tokyo’s Shimokita Ekimae Cinema K2 (on December 19, 2025) and Kyoto’s Demachiza (March 6 to 8, 3036). It was also featured at festivals like Fantasia International Film Festival (as part of the Anime no bento 2025 selection) and Niigata International Animation Film Festival
