In IDOL:UnderCode, every idol has a story of her own. Kachofugetsu brings five different journeys together, with each member carrying her own past and struggles while working toward the same dream. What makes this group especially interesting is how its story reaches beyond the fictional world, connecting music, VTuber activities, and interactions with fans in real time.

Meet Kachofugetsu, the Five Idols at the Heart of IDOL:UnderCode

Kachofugetsu is made up of five members: Akane Kirishima, Airi Shinonome, Hiyori Hanamura, Matsuri Asahina, and Sayo Sakakibara. At the center of the group is Akane Kirishima, who continues to pursue her dream of becoming an idol despite being born into a prominent family in the underworld.

Each member has a different background and personal struggles, but they have come together with one shared goal: to reach the top of the idol world. Through streaming and live performances, they work toward that dream while building their own stories.

These characters do not exist only within the project’s fictional narrative. They also operate as VTubers in the real world, where they can communicate with fans in real time. Everyday interactions and shared experiences can become part of the wider IDOL:UnderCode story, giving fans another way to connect with the group.

Kachofugetsu’s Debut Song Arrives on Major Music Platforms

Kachofugetsu is taking its first step into the music scene with its debut original song, “Mada Oware Nai Yo Ne?” The track marks an important milestone for the five idols as their story expands beyond the world of IDOL:UnderCode.

The song was written and composed by Ryota Saito and Diz, two creators who have produced music for numerous major artists, anime, and VTubers.

The song began streaming early on TikTok on Sunday, October 18, 2026. It will become available for streaming and purchase on major music platforms from Monday, October 26, 2026. These services include TikTok, Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and others.

Starting with the song’s early TikTok release, IDOL:UnderCode plans to connect music with short-form videos, VTuber activities, and future story developments.

How IDOL:UnderCode Connects Anime, VTubers, Games, and Fans

IDOL:UnderCode is a multimedia project built around the contrast between “idols as light” and the “undercode as darkness.” It connects anime, VTuber activities, and games within the same world and timeline, with the story developing alongside its creators, performers, and fans.

Interactions between characters and fans through activities such as TikTok LIVE can feed back into the narrative. From there, the project expands across different formats, including anime, music, games, and live events.

Rather than simply watching a story unfold, fans are invited to become part of the experience. Their support and interactions can contribute to the world of IDOL:UnderCode, creating a closer connection between the fictional story and real-world activities.

For Kachofugetsu, the debut song “Mada Oware Nai Yo Ne?” is an early step in that ongoing journey. As the group continues to develop through music, VTuber activities, and future story updates, fans will have more opportunities to follow the five members and their shared dream.
